General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)

2. Purpose

These GTCS define the terms under which Travel with Pierre offers its tourism consulting and support services (custom itinerary creation, studies, and consulting services).
They apply to any order placed by a professional or individual client, in France or abroad.

3. Nature of Services

Travel with Pierre acts solely as a consultant and designer of travel itineraries and tourism projects.
He does not directly sell transport tickets, accommodation, or tourist services as defined by the Tourism Code (Articles L.211-1 and following).
When necessary, Travel with Pierre may connect clients with duly authorized partners (travel agencies, DMCs, hotels, or transport companies), but he does not act as a travel or tour operator.

4. Orders

  • Requests can be made via contact form, email, or a personalized quote.

  • Acceptance of the quote constitutes a firm order.

  • Placing an order implies full acceptance of these GTCS.

5. Prices and Payment Terms

  • Prices are expressed in euros, excluding or including VAT depending on applicable status.

  • The total amount due is specified in the quote or signed contract.

  • Payments may be made:

  • by bank transfer, or

  • via a secure online payment provider (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

  • Deposit: A [30%] deposit is required upon order; the balance is due [upon delivery / before document handover].

  • In the event of late payment, statutory late fees apply (Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code).

6. Right of Withdrawal (Private Clients Only)

Under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, consumers have 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the date of accepting the offer.
Exceptions: This right does not apply to services fully performed before the withdrawal period ends, with the consumer’s express consent (Article L221-28).

7. Client Obligations

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the service.

  • Pay the amounts due within the agreed timeframe.

  • Respect the intellectual property rights attached to delivered documents (personal/professional use only, no sharing without authorization).

8. Delivery of Services

  • Services (itineraries, studies, consulting) are delivered electronically (by email or client portal) unless otherwise stated.

  • Delivery times are estimates. A reasonable delay cannot justify cancellation or compensation unless a specific written commitment exists.

9. Liability

  • Travel with Pierre acts as an advisor and cannot be held responsible for services provided by third parties (transport providers, hotels, local agencies).

  • In referral cases, each partner remains fully responsible for their own services.

  • Travel with Pierre’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the consulting service.

10. Intellectual Property

All content created by Travel with Pierre (itineraries, studies, documents, materials, website content) is protected by copyright law.
Any reproduction, distribution, or use without authorization is strictly prohibited.

11. Confidentiality & Personal Data

Travel with Pierre commits to handling personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available on the website.

12. Force Majeure

Travel with Pierre cannot be held liable for non-performance resulting from a force majeure event as defined in Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

13. Termination

In the event of a serious breach by either party of its contractual obligations, the contract may be automatically terminated after a 15-day formal notice remains unanswered.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These GTCS are governed by French law.

  • Any dispute regarding their interpretation or execution shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts within the district of the Court of Appeal of [city of your registered office].
